Kerry Washington to Produce and Star in OLD CITY BLUES

Kerry Washington (Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer) will both star in and produce Old City Blues for Hulu. The news is coming from The Hollywood Reporter and will be Washington’s second Hulu original series. Old City Blues was a comic book published by Giannis Milonogiannis in 2011.

The series is set in the year 2048. It takes place in Athens featuring high-tech criminals and corrupt politicians. Chris Black (Outcast) will serve as the showrunner while Allison Davis will pen the script. According to THR, the series revolves around Solano, Thermidor and the rest of the New Athens Special Police. We don’t have word on who Washington will be playing at this time.
