SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME Wraps Production

Spider-Man: Far From Home will be the first Marvel movie to come after Avengers 4, which will be the end of the Marvel Cinematic Universe as we know it. While a lot of details are being kept under wraps, we know that the sequel picks up immediately after the events of Avengers 4, when Peter Parker and his friends take a vacation to Europe. Along the way, Peter fights new enemy Mysterioand teams up with new allies, such as Nick Fury.

Now, filming is over, as star Tom Holland has announced the wrap of production on Far From Home. He also shares a new behind-the-scenes photo, featuring the new Spidey suit and MJ (Zendaya).

With Far From Home finished shooting, the film is now heading into post-production. There may be some reshoots later on, which is usual for Marvel movies, but otherwise that’s about it. It’s unclear when Sony will begin marketing the movie, but chances are, they may wait until after the Avengers 4 trailer comes out…whenever that will be. The studio also has to go about marketing without spoiling that movie, including how Spider-Man will be resurrected.
Spider-Man: Far From Home is set to hit theaters on July 5th, 2019. The 23rd installment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe stars Tom Holland, Michael Keaton, Zendaya, Marisa Tomei, Jake Gyllenhaal, Cobie Smulders, and Samuel L. Jackson. Jon Watts directs from a script by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers.
