Retrospective Review: ARROW Season 2

This season follows Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) who is working to stop crime and not being a murderer with the help of OTA(Original Team Arrow), allies John Diggle (David Ramsey) and Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards). Oliver struggles with his commitment to no killing when Slade Wilson (Manu Bennett), a man from Oliver’s time on the island who resurfaces with a vendetta against him. Oliver grows to accept help from wannabe vigilante Roy Harper (Colton Haynes) and Laurel’s father, Officer Quentin Lance (Paul Blackthorne) and eventually Sara Lance (Caity Lotz), come back to Starling City after surviving her ordeal at sea. We see the flashbacks continue of Oliver’s time on Lian Yu, as he faces a foe in Dr Anthony Ivo (Dylan Neal), whilst continuing to struggle to survive with Slade and Sara, as well as Shado (Celina Jade).

Keep in mind, I’ve seen every season of Arrow, so I can’t approach this from a new perspective. However, it has been awhile since I’ve watched Arrow. So it’s kinda a fresh perspective right?

There are SPOILERS for Arrow below. I’ll try and keep it to just season 2 though…

The Review

Arrow season 2 is the best season of Arrow yet, and anyone who says different is crazy. Just kidding. But seriously. I mean, you’re entitled to your opinion, but your opinion can be wrong right?
But no, in true all seriousness, Arrow season 2 is fantabulous, and if you think more than otherwise, let’s talk about it. I believe we have a near perfect villain here in Slade Wilson, the character development of the Queen family is truly remarkable, and Sara Lance? She’s the perfect addition to the show, and Caity Lotz is does wonders carrying the role.
