We’ve got casting news for y’all! There are loads of animated movies coming from DC this year, with Reign of the Supermen already out and Batman: Hush, Wonder Woman: Bloodlines, and Justice League vs. The Fatal Five to come. Revenge of The Fans has picked up the cast list for the first animated solo Wonder Woman movie since 2009.

Rosario Dawson (Death of Superman, Reign of The Superman, Daredevil) is returning, presumably voicing Wonder Woman again. She’s really taken the role in stride, and especially her coming to Wonder Woman: Bloodlines. She’s been voicing Wonder Woman in DC’s Animated Universe since Throne of Atlantis in 2015. For the rest of the cast we have: Nia Vardolos (My Big Fat Greek Wedding), Adrienne C. Moore (Orange is The New Black), Constance Zimmer (House of Cards, Bojack Horseman), Courtenay Taylor (Skylanders Academy), Cree Summer (Guardians of The Galaxy TV series), Kimberley Brooks (Bumblebee, DC Super Hero Girls), Marie Avgeropolous (The 100), Michael Dorn (Atrocitous, Justice League Action, and voice of Prometheus in Arrow), Mozhan Marno (The Black List, House of Cards), and Ray Chase (Voltron).

I’m really intrigued to see/hear the role Marie Avgeropolous is playing. She’s absolutely fantastic in The 100. This brings me to my guess for who she’s taking on.

Mario uncovered the code name for the film, which is “Swan Song”. He picked up some interesting information from a bit of research where an old nemesis of Silver Swan. Here’s a bit of information on her character from the DC Database.

“Silver Swan is a legacy character and enemy to Wonder Woman. They each have the powers of flight and sonic energy, able to fire blasts and emit force fields using sound. Ballet dancer Helen Alexandros was given her powers by the god Mars including super-strength, and was active during the Bronze Age. In Post-Crisis continuity, lonely heart Valerie Beaudry took the name after exposure to radiation although she needed artificial wings. Vanessa Kapatelis became her successor, a corrupted friend to Wonder Woman who also wore an exo-skeleton. Alexandros would later be introduced as the third Swan.”

Marie plays the role of angry Octavia brilliantly on The 100. I can see her taking on the corrupt role of Silver Swan really easily, bringing the same force she has as Octavia.
