From producers Ashley and David Flowers, Full Body Chills is an annual podcast from Audiochuck that tells short spooky stories read by a rotating cast of narrators.

This season they’ve brought us a drunk trucker with some dark secrets, a tinkerer who’s toys mesmerized a town, a ghost found in the machine, a Lovecraftian nightmare in a cave, and an online love story gone oh so wrong, along with many more stories you can binge. These episodes are never a time waster and offer a little something for everyone.

Once again from the mind of Audiochuck’s Ashley Flowers, this Parcast original covers the Supernatural and things unexplained.

To date, Ashley’s covered topics such as alien abductions, Bigfoot, ghosts, demons, urban legends, werewolves, vampires, and even Bob Lazar. The sound design on this show is haunting, even if most of the runtime amounts to an essay. I binged the entire show over the summer, and I was hooked, wide awake some nights and barely able to sleep without one eye open.

Dogman Encounters Radio

Dogman Encounters Radio is a show my brother got me hooked on earlier this year. Hosted by the mysterious Vic Cundiff, the program features live interviews with people who claim to have encountered dogmen, also known as the Michigan Dogman. Or as my brother calls them from his sighting, “The Wolf Creature of Afton.”

These episodes aren’t so much scary as they are fun to ponder. The real fright comes from coming face to face with a dogman, something few guests on the show would wish upon anyone.

This podcast is perfect listening for a long roadtrip.

Ashley McGlothren is going to tell you a scary story. So says each installment of Southern Haunts, a show all about the ghost stories in and around the Southern United States

The show features a wide range of performers, and the horrors the show presents range from the lovecraftian sort to the grim and gruesome. Definitely not a show to listen to with the lights off.
