[UPDATED] Possible New BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE Details For Armored Batsuit And More
While we wait for the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice marketing campaign to kick off – a teaser trailer is rumored to be coming within the next several weeks – a new report may reveal some new details regarding Ben Affleck’s Caped Crusader. A Batman-News reader apparently met Rehan Jalali, Affleck’s trainer who taught some nutrition classes in London last weekend. During this meeting, Jalali reportedly shared some new information concerning Batman’s armored suit in Dawn of Justice, his vehicles and an intriguing scene with Bruce Wayne. The details can be found below, but beware of potential spoilers.
As previously confirmed, Batman will have two suits in Batman v Superman – his traditional Batsuit, and an armored costume which was revealed in the San Diego Comic-Con 2014 footage. According to Jalali, the latter “has Kryptonite all over it, and it can shoot missiles.” Additionally, there are apparently two Batmobiles in the movie. We’ve seen one already, and Batman-News previously heard that Batman also has a flying vehicle. Maybe that is what Jalali was referring to? Finally, there will be a shirtless Bruce Wayne scene to show off Affleck’s impressive physique. The scene is described as “brutally shot,” and Wayne is said to be overlooking a destroyed city – possibly Metropolis.
As aforementioned, the marketing campaign for Batman v Superman is expected to kick off soon with the release of its first trailer, likely attached to Interstellar or The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies. Stay tuned for more news as we have it.
Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice is scheduled to hit theaters March 25th, 2016. The second installment in the DC Cinematic Universe stars Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Jesse Eisenberg, Callan Mulvey, Tao Okamoto, Holly Hunter, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane and Laurence Fishburne. Zack Snyder directs from a script by Chris Terrio and David S. Goyer.
