Possible New Details on the Three Green Lanterns of Earth in GREEN LANTERN CORPS

Last year, it was reported that 2020’s Green Lantern reboot – now titled Green Lantern Corps – will star more than one human Lantern from Earth. Hal Jordan and John Stewart are most likely appearing in the movie, with Guy Gardner also rumored. Now, a new rumor may reveal which third Lantern will join them. Also, what are the age ranges for the three characters?

According to Latino-Review, in addition to Jordan and Stewart, we may also see Kyle Rayner in Green Lantern Corps. Rayner is another beloved Green Lantern who comes from Earth. No update on whether Guy Gardner is appearing in the film.

Additionally, Warner Bros. is allegedly looking to cast an older actor for Hal Jordan. According to the rumor, the studio wants to cast an actor in the age range of, for example, Matt Damon. (I actually wouldn’t mind if they cast Matt Damon himself as Hal Jordan.) Meanwhile, John Stewart and Kyle Rayner will both be played by younger actors.

Green Lantern Corps doesn’t begin production for a few more years, and it doesn’t even have a script yet, so this information can easily change as time goes on.

At least one Lantern is rumored to appear in Justice League. Recently, Warner Bros. stated that the soonest Green Lantern will debut is in 2019’s Justice League Part Two. But, I wouldn’t be surprised if he made a cameo in 2017’s Justice League Part One, another old rumor.
