We Played Marvel’s Avengers and Had Fun

    August 10, 2020 / 0 Comments

For so long, we wondered: “What type of game is Square Enix making?” Marvel’s Avengers is nothing like Insomniac’s Spider-Man or Rocksteady’s Batman: Arkham trilogy, or even NetherRealm’s Injustice series. It’s a strange situation. Thankfully, this past weekend we got to beta test the Avengers game and discovered that it’s an entirely new experience. Avengers is not the single-player adventure like the upcoming Spider-Man: Miles Morales. The game is a co-op looter beat ’em up. You drop in with friends and smash the hell out of A.I.M. robots. It’s very much in the same vein as Destiny and Anthem. In the beta, we played the opening A-Day tutorial (seen at E3 2019). The controls for most of the…

    April 24, 2020 / 0 Comments

With Marvel Studios concluding the Infinity Saga with last year’s Avengers: Endgame, fans have anticipated what the universe’s future will hold. Specifically, there has been much speculation over the future of the Avengers team. Endgame definitively wrapped up almost every original member’s story, while recent movies have introduced many new heroes. However, Marvel has understandably been quiet about future Avengers movies. Recently, a rumor said that Captain Marvel 2 would pave the way for a New Avengers movie. With Captain Marvel‘s big success last year and the character playing a key supporting role in Endgame, chances are she’d help spearhead this new Avengers team. But who would join her? Below,…

5 Video Game Crossovers We Want to See

    April 20, 2020 / 0 Comments

Throughout the history of video games, we’ve seen many crossovers between established properties. Mortal Kombat has featured several third-party guest characters, Mario and Sonic have shared the screen, and Marvel has faced off with Capcom multiple times. That’s not even counting franchises like Super Smash Bros., which combine countless properties into a single game. Of course, with video games growing bigger and bigger, it’s only inevitable for crossovers to continue. Here, we list five crossovers that we want to see. Some are arguably longshots, while others may be more realistic. Spider-Man Meets Avengers Marvel Games has made a recent comeback in the form of Spider-Man, which is one of the…

    Review: AVENGERS: ENDGAME (2019)

    April 26, 2019 / 0 Comments

The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios’ grand conclusion to twenty-two films, Avengers: Endgame. It’s no stretch to say that Avengers: Endgame is one of the most anticipated movies in history. Marvel Studios has been building up to this moment for 11 years, from the first Iron Man movie. These movies have been huge from the beginning. Anticipation skyrocketed even more after Avengers: Infinity War, which ended in a huge cliffhanger that saw the victory of Thanos and deaths of many beloved heroes. So,…

Oscar Producers Aiming to Recruit The Avengers for 2019 Academy Awards

    January 10, 2019 / 0 Comments

The Avengers have saved Earth many times. They stopped Loki and Ultron’s invasions, they took on HYDRA, and they…made an attempt to stop Thanos. And now, it looks like their latest mission is to…save the Oscars? With Kevin Hart out, there has been much speculation on who will host this year’s Academy Awards ceremony. January 7, 2019 / 0 Comments

Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige was in attendance at the 2019 Golden Globes last night, where Black Panther was up for Best Motion Picture – Drama and other categories. There, Feige was interviewed about the studio’s biggest movie yet, along with other teases on Marvel’s future. Speaking with MTV News, Feige addresses the secrecy for Avengers: Endgame.
