Avengers: Infinity War is the cinematic event of the year, uniting about two dozen Marvel heroes in the ultimate battle to save the universe. AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR Wins a Mighty Second Weekend
As expected, Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War has had a big second weekend. In fact, it has the second-biggest sophomore weekend in history. Per THR, Infinity War is grossing an estimated $112.5 million this weekend. This marks a 56% drop from its opening weekend, which is on par with past Marvel movies. This narrowly beats Black Panther ($111.7 million) for second place, and it’s behind only Star Wars: The Force Awakens ($149.2 million).
