
Box Office Updates for BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE, Weekend #4
It’s the fourth weekend of release for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, which passed $300m domestically and $800m worldwide the other day. Now, the early box office estimates for this weekend are in. How well did Batman v Superman do?
The DC superhero ensemble grossed an estimated $9.01 million this weekend, a 61% drop from last weekend’s $23.4 million. This puts it at #4 for the weekend, behind The Jungle Book ($103.6M), Barbershop: The Next Cut ($20.2M) and The Boss ($10.2M).
Currently, Batman v Superman has made $311.3 million domestically and $827.3 million worldwide. Gitesh Pandya suggests that the film is on track to end its theatrical run at around $875 million, just short of the previously expected $900 million. But, we’ll see how the next few weeks fare.
