Aquaman and Wonder Woman Concept Art for Aborted JUSTICE LEAGUE: MORTAL Movie Revealed
As most know, back in 2007, director George Miller was developing Justice League: Mortal, a film that was set to unite DC’s greatest superheroes. However, the project was canned for a variety of reasons. While Zack Snyder will bring the Justice League to life in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice next year – leading directly into 2017’s Justice League Part One – it would have been interesting to see what Miller’s vision would have looked like.
We’ll get a taste of that vision soon, as filmmaker Ryan Unicomb is developing a documentary titled Miller’s Justice League Mortal. The documentary will go behind-the-scenes of the failed production, with hopes to reveal never-before-seen artwork and cast/crew interviews. More details can be found here.
In the meantime, the documentary’s official Twitter page has revealed a couple of concept designs. One features a look at Aquaman, who would have been played by Santiago Cabrera. The other is concept art of Wonder Woman (Megan Gale) catching a car mid-air. Check them out below, and stay tuned for more news as we have it.
