Lucius Fox Upgraded to Series Regular for GOTHAM Season Two
Yet another recurring character from Gotham will return as a series regular next season. Morena Baccarin’s Leslie Thompkins was upgraded a few weeks ago, and just yesterday, it was confirmed that Nicholas D’Agosto’s Harvey Dent has been promoted. And now, a third character will receive a beefed-up role in season two.
TV Line has confirmed that Lucius Fox, played by Chris Chalk, will be a series regular in Gotham‘s second season. The character, a tech guru at Wayne Enterprises, debuted near the end of season one. There, he gave Bruce Wayne a hint that led the future Batman to find his father’s chamber in the season finale. That chamber will, of course, go on to become the Batcave.
Gotham executive producer Jon Stephens tells TV Line that Fox “becomes another person who’s going to help Bruce on his journey to find out what happened to his parents and what his parents were doing, and also his journey to manhood and Batman-hood. [Adult Bruce is] like a science genius, and some of that’s going to come from Lucius Fox.”
Stay tuned for more news as we have it. Gotham is set to return this fall on Fox.
