SUPERGIRL Will Meet Classic Superman Villain Mr. Mxyzptlk Later This Season
Following this week’s midseason finale, which kicked off The CW’s big “Heroes vs. Aliens” crossover event, Supergirl is now on winter break. But when the show returns next year, Kara will be facing a new villain – one who Superman fans should easily recognize. Warner Bros. Shifts AQUAMAN Release to Fall 2018
Warner Bros. originally slated DC Films’ Aquaman for release on July 27th, 2018. The James Wan-directed movie will star Jason Momoa, Amber Heard and Willem Dafoe. However, the studio has now moved the film to a later date. It has been announced (via The Hollywood Reporter) that Aquaman will now hit theaters on October 5th, 2018 in 3D and IMAX. No reason for the delay was given, and there’s no indication of production being pushed back. The film is expected to begin shooting early next year.
