Sneak Peek at DC’s Next Animated Film, BATMAN: GOTHAM BY GASLIGHT

For its next animated movie, DC is going the Elseworlds route with Batman: Gotham by Gaslight, an adaptation of the fan-favorite graphic novel. The story reimagines the world of Gotham in the 1890s steampunk era, pitting Batman against Jack the Ripper. Now, we have a first look at the movie.

The following sneak peek is found in the Batman and Harley Quinn bonus features. In it, the creative team discusses how Gotham by Gaslight is different from any other Batman story, along with the challenges of bringing it to life. No word on the movie’s voice cast, but the actor playing Batman does sound like Bruce Greenwood, who played the Caped Crusader in Batman: Under the Red Hood and Young Justice.
