Rumor: Warner Bros. Developing HARLEY QUINN VS. THE JOKER Movie
As we get ready for Warner Bros.’ San Diego Comic-Con panel tomorrow, the rumor mill is on a roll. Today, we have a new rumor, and this one sounds…interesting, I guess?
ScreenRant claims that WB and DC Films are developing a new Suicide Squad spin-off, tentatively called Harley Quinn vs. The Joker. The title is pretty self-explanatory. Also, the site claims that this is indeed a separate project from Suicide Squad 2 and Gotham City Sirens, both of which will also star Harley. Margot Robbie and Jared Leto are attached to reprise their respective roles, while Geoff Johns will produce.
The site offers no other details, but suggests that we might learn more at the SDCC panel tomorrow.
Again, this is just a rumor for now. Personally, I’m not too big on the idea of dedicating an entire movie to Harley Quinn vs. Joker. That’s a plot that could be explored in Gotham City Sirens or even the Suicide Squad sequel. Regardless, will the movie actually happen? We’ll have to wait and see.
Stay tuned for more updates as we have them.
