RUMOR: John Slattery Is Joining Avengers 4

Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is coming to a close in 2019, and new info trickles down by the day. Earlier this week we got our first look at Carol Danvers and her Starforce in Captain Marvel. And now we’ve got another rumor about Avengers 4, courtesy of our friends at The Hashtag Show.

Writer Charles Murphy has the scoop that John Slattery filmed scenes for Avengers 4. Slattery played an older Howard Stark in Iron Man 2, Ant-Man and Captain America: Civil War. The context of Slattery’s scenes remain unknown, but
considering the mystery of how the team
is going to defeat Thanos, maybe that’s for the best. Maybe time travel is involved, like some popular theories seem to think?
