Screenwriter David Callaham Reportedly Writing an Unknown Marvel Movie

Marvel Studios has been keeping its post-Avengers 4 plans under much secrecy. Other than a few movies in development, we don’t really know what the studio’s gameplan is for Phase Four and beyond. Whatever it is, it looks like one screenwriter is already on board.

According to That Hashtag Show, Wonder Woman 1984 scribe David Callaham is writing an upcoming Marvel movie. He joined the project earlier this year. Also, this is definitely a film, and not one of Marvel’s planned Disney Play shows. Other than that, we don’t know what it is. But we also know what it isn’t.

Black Widow and The Eternals are expected to be Marvel’s 2020 movies, so those scripts are already done. Additionally, Ryan Coogler is back as the writer of Black Panther 2. So, Callaham could be working on the Doctor Strange sequel or that rumored Dark Avengers script. There’s also the possibility that he is rewriting Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, but that film is reportedly keeping James Gunn’s script and is in no hurry to go into production. Or, Callaham’s movie could be something else entirely.

We’ll likely know for certain by the time Avengers 4 hits theaters next year. Stay tuned.
