Crunchyroll and HBO Max Announce Anime Launch Titles
Crunchyroll, the world’s largest anime distributor, is teaming up with HBO Max and will be a ton of shows to the platform. The two streaming giants announced their collaboration and the series coming to HBO Max at launch. Kevin Reilly, Chief Content Officer, for HBO Max went on to say: “Anime is a celebrated, diverse art form with a rich culture rooted in imaginative worlds and vibrant characters. Crunchyroll has centralized these fantastic adventures for everyone to enjoy. Movie News Bits: Anime Goes Live Action, Casting Updates and More
Welcome back to Movie News Bits. In today’s installment, we have movement on a hotly anticipated sequel, casting updates for some movies, the potential franchise future of Venom, and more. Despite mixed reviews, Death Note was a pretty big success for Netflix. So, the company has confirmed that a sequel, simply titled Death Note 2, is in the works. Greg Russo is writing the script. 5. Light Yagami (Death Note) While Light Yagami is the main lead of Death Note, he is also a villain. He is charismatic, together with an intelligence that you can’t help but to see if he get’s away with his deeds. He ends up this low because of a certain event. Bandai Namco Announces Anime Crossover Game JUMP FORCE
Microsoft held its Xbox conference today for E3, and there, they debuted a lot of new games. One of the biggest highlights is the reveal of Bandai Namco’s latest project, which should make anime fans happy. Jump Force is a new title designed to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Shonen Jump. The game unites characters from Dragon Ball Z, Naruto, One Piece, Death Note, and more in an epic crossover. This is the first time Shonen Jump characters have joined forces since 2014’s J-Stars Victory VS. The new game will be available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
