Ranked: SPIDER-MAN Movie Villains
The villains in the Spider-Man films has ranged from bad to great. Each performance is unique and special in their own way. In this list we’re going to rank every single villain from all the Spider-Man films from worst to best, and yes we’re even including Spider-Man: Homecoming. How well does the Vulture stack up against the rest? We’re about to find out! 11. The Rhino (The Amazing Spider-Man 2) The Rhino (Paul Giamatti) is at the bottom of this list because he’s the absolute worst. He’s loud, over-the-top, and completely useless. He’s so forgettable that he almost didn’t make the list. You can cut him out of the film…

X-MEN Casting Bits: Rosario Dawson Exits NEW MUTANTS, Quicksilver Returns for DARK PHOENIX
We have a couple of casting updates on two of the next movies in the X-Men universe. First off, according to The Hollywood Reporter, Rosario Dawson has dropped out of Josh Boone’s New Mutants. Replacing her is Alice Braga, whose credits include I Am Legend and Predators. It’s unclear why Dawson exited the project. Braga will play Dr. Cecilia Reyes, who can generate a protective bio-field around herself, but there’s apparently more to her than meets the eye. The movie also stars Maisie Williams, Anya Taylor-Joy, Charlie Heaton, Henry Zaga, and Blu Hunt. Production is expected to begin in July. New Mutants is set to hit theaters on April 13th, 2018. In…

In addition to two trilogies and two Wolverine movies, the studio recently launched the wildly successful Deadpool and Hugh Jackman’s last Wolverine outing, Logan. Fox also tried to relaunch Fantastic Four a couple years ago, but the less we say about that, the better. Next year, Fox will release a whopping three X-Men-related films: New Mutants, Deadpool 2 and X-Men: Dark Phoenix. And now, the studio has set released dates for a lot more movies. Fox (via Exhibitor Relations) has updated its release schedule, adding release dates for six untitled Marvel movies that span from 2019…

Review: SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING
Spider-Man: Homecoming is a big film for the character. Spider-Man was not in a good place after The Amazing Spider-Man 2, with many (including myself) wondering how would they recover. People weren’t taking to the reboot and for good reason. On February 9th, 2015, the unthinkable happened. Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures managed to come to an agreement where both studios co-produce a Spider-Man film set in the MCU. The internet freaked out. Finally, Spider-Man can fight alongside other heroes like Iron Man and Captain America. Here we are two years later and that moment is finally here; Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Does Spider-Man: Homecoming live up to…

Stephen Amell Hopes to Explore Green Arrow’s Liberal Roots in ARROW Season 6
While Green Arrow was written as little more than a Batman knock-off when he was first created, the character was later developed into his own unique persona by other writers. Oliver Queen went on to adopt a goatee and strong liberal beliefs. (Essentially, he’s a social justice warrior.) Those classic elements mostly went away in the New 52, before returning in Rebirth. On television, Arrow hasn’t exactly embraced those aspects of the characters fully. The show has spent most of its time exploring a darker take on the Emerald Archer, who spends more time brooding than cracking jokes. (There’s those pesky Batman knock-off complaints again…) We’ve seen some of his…

Director Matt Reeves Talks THE BATMAN and What to Expect From The Film
It’s been almost five months since Matt Reeves joined The Batman project. The War for Planet of the Apes director has been plenty busy working on the third film in the acclaimed trilogy. Now that the film has wrapped up, and the interviews have begun, Reeves has finally spoken about The Dark Knight. In an interview with New Trailer Buzz, Reeves says why he was attracted to Batman as well as what style the film might go for: One of the reasons I was drawn to it is, I had a similar fascination to Batman when I was younger that I had with The Planet of the Apes series, which I…
