SUPERGIRL Casts Legion of Superheroes Member Saturn Girl for Season 3
Supergirl has been teasing the arrival of the Legion of Superheroes for a while now. The team’s ring was spotted in the Fortress of Solitude back in season one. Also, Mon-El has a lot of connections to the group in the comics, and the season two finale showed him going…somewhere through a portal. Is this where he meets the Legion?
Regardless, we’ll be meeting at least one member of the Legion this season. It has been announced that actress Amy Jackson has been cast as Imra Ardeen, aka Saturn Girl. Ardeen is a “strong-willed” hero who “…uses her telekinetic ability to help those in need. She was born on Titan, one of Saturn’s moons, and arrives on Earth to help Supergirl battle one of her biggest threats.”
This marks Saturn Girl’s second live action portrayal, following Smallville. With this character set to appear, how long until the rest of the Legion shows up?
Stay tuned for more as we have it. Supergirl returns on Monday, October 9th at 8 PM EST on The CW.
