It’ll be interesting to see what happens in a post-Justice League DC Universe. The biggest announcement of the day was that they are developing a Flashpoint movie. DC Movie + TV News Bits: Michelle MacLaren Mum On WONDER WOMAN, Amy Adams Talks BATMAN V SUPERMAN, Mark Hamill Discusses THE FLASH’s Trickster
Last month, it was reported that Breaking Bad‘s Michelle MacLaren had closed a deal to direct Wonder Woman for Warner Bros. The movie is also closing in on a writer, as Pan‘s Jason Fuchs is in talks to work on the script with MacLaren. The film will star Gal Gadot, who makes her debut as Diana Prince in 2016’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. And now, the director has finally commented on Wonder Woman, and while she’s unsurprisingly mum on details, she does offer a couple of interesting updates. During a profile for Vulture, MacLaren is inevitably asked about Wonder Woman. She states that, “I really, really, really can’t…

FLASH SPOILER Review: Episode 7×04- “Central City Strong”
The Flash (7×04)- “Central City Strong” Written by: Joshua V Gilbert & Jeff Hersh Directed by: Jeff Byrd The episode opens with Iris coming home to a romantic candlelit dinner with Barry. Which is interrupted by a minor earthquake and (unbeknownst to our happy couple some more of the colored lightning) before our title sequence. The next day, the STAR Labs team is working on helping the city rebuild while The Flash is interviewed by the not-at-all-overly-dramatic TV host that interviewed Eva. It’s mostly just an excuse for some banter between the gang. Until Caitlin takes a couple of moments to look either ill or troubled. Potentially both. Allegra then…

FLASH SPOILER Review: Episode 7×03- “Mother”
The Flash (7×03)- “Mother” Written by: Eric Wallace & Kristen Kim Directed by: David McWhirter Picking up pretty much we left the team last week with Cisco, Allegra and Frost coming to. They find Barry kneeling over Iris and if you couldn’t tell by the end of the last episode his little experiment with emotional suppression is over cause he looks to be so far into The Manly Tears that he could break out into Ugly Crying at any second. So, the gang has got some serious problems… Barry has no powers, Singh and Kamilla are trapped in the mirror dimension, dying, Iris is just as fried and did I…

FLASH SPOILER Review: Episode 6×13- “Grodd Friended Me”
The Flash (6×13)- “Grodd Friended Me” Written by: Kristen Kim & Joshua V Gilbert Directed by: Stefan Pleszczynski Okay! March is here, everyone’s hounding you to join their basketball brackets, the weather’s flipping the coin between winter and spring and the bi-annual complaining about Daylight Savings has come and gone. Do you know what this means? That’s right! The Grodd episode! Even better it’s a Grodd episode where we establish our brand new status quo! The episode starts with a kick in the gut in the form of Barry being unable to find his parents’ graves. In an interesting comment on how much things have changed since Crisis, the latest…

Ezra Miller Writing His Own Script for THE FLASH; Could the Scarlet Speedster Be Recast?
DC Films‘ The Flash has taken an infamously long path in development hell. After multiple director changes, Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley signed on to direct last year. Then we had productions delays due to scripting and Ezra Miller‘s schedule. The latest update takes the film into a…peculiar direction. However, it may be one that results in a new actor taking the title role. Miller is now writing his own script for The Flash. Not only that, but he’s working on it with renown comic book writer Grant Morrison. Miller wants a darker take on the film, and he’s taking matters into his own hands to pursue that. Right…

FLASH SPOILER Review: Episode 5×14- “Cause and XS”
The Flash (5×14)- “Cause and XS” Written by: Todd Helbing & Jeff Hersh Directed by: Rachel Talalay With new episodes coming up this week, I better take time out of my busy schedule to review the last episode. Cause and XS! continues this strange Flash tradition of putting out holiday episodes a week after the holiday… This time they’re celebrating Groundhog’s Day not with a prognosticating rodent but with a time loop. Of course, the time loop isn’t just a staple of Bill Murray movies. It’s a sci-fi staple going way back with shows like Star Trek: The Next Generation, Stargate SG-1 and Buffy the Vampire Slayer all throwing their…
