The CW Announces Fall Premiere Dates for New Arrowverse Seasons
All four of The CW’s current DC shows – Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow – have been renewed for new seasons next fall. Anticipation is high for the next wave of DC TV, especially since all four seasons ended on exciting cliffhangers. Now, the network has announced the premiere dates of its fall slate, including its superhero shows. Supergirl launches the network’s fall lineup with the premiere of its third season on Monday, October 9th at 8 PM EST. The Flash will begin its fourth season on Tuesday, October 10th at 8 PM EST, followed by Legends of Tomorrow‘s season three premiere at 9 PM EST.…

Latest Seasons of THE FLASH and ARROW Coming to Blu-Ray This Fall
The Flash and Arrow recently concluded their third and fifth seasons, respectively, on The CW. For those who still need to catch up (and don’t have Netflix), you’ll be happy to know that both seasons are coming to home video later this fall. The Flash: The Complete Third Season hits DVD and Blu-Ray on September 5th, while Arrow: The Complete Fifth Season arrives on September 19th. ARROW Shifting to Thursday Nights Next Season
For its five-year run, Arrow has consistently stayed in the Wednesdays at 8 PM EST slot on The CW’s schedule. Now, with the show returning for a sixth season next fall, that’s about to change. The CW has released its 2017-2018 schedule, and Arrow is aiming for a new timeslot. Arrow will now air on Thursdays at 9 PM EST, following Supernatural. Its Wednesdays at 8 slot will be taken over by Greg Berlanti’s other (non-DC) comic book show Riverdale. Meanwhile, the other three Arrowverse shows will retain their current timeslots. DC’s LEGENDS OF TOMORROW Season 2 Coming to Blu-Ray in August
DC’s Legends of Tomorrow concluded its second season last month. This season really saw the show come into its own, as it fully embraced the over-the-top fun and action. The Legends also faced off with the Legion of Doom, comprised of some of the Arrowverse’s greatest villains. Now, the Legends’ second season is coming soon to home video. DC’s Legends of Tomorrow: The Complete Second Season will be released August 15th on DVD and Blu-Ray. BLACK LIGHTNING Gets a Series Order at The CW
The next DC superhero to enter the world of television is Black Lightning, thanks to Salim and Mara Brock Akil, as well as Greg Berlanti. The pilot was originally set up at Fox, before moving over to The CW. The latter network is already home to all of Berlanti’s other comic book shows (the Arrowverse shows and Riverdale), so Black Lightning seemed like a natural fit. Now, it’s official. Warner Bros. Unveils DC-Heavy Television Schedule for San Diego Comic-Con 2016
Warner Bros. Television is bringing a whopping 21 shows to San Diego Comic-Con next month, including several DC Comics shows. Today, the company has unveiled its full schedule for the convention. The pilot for NBC’s DC workplace comedy Powerless will premiere, while iZombie will get its own panel. On Saturday, a block heavily focused on DC’s shows will take place.
