DC Universe’s Titans is finally wrapping production soon, but before that, we have a breakdown for one more character, courtesy of That Hashtag Show. According to the site, the show is looking to cast a character with codenamed David, a 20-something male with dark hair. David is described as a powerful and merciless individual, and he is kept as a prisoner in a mysterious lab. David would have a guest starring role in the show’s 13th episode (aka season finale), but has the option to be a series regular for future seasons. Welcome to the latest installment of TV News Bits. In this installment, we have Blu-Ray details on the current seasons of Arrow and Riverdale, an actor making his directorial debut next season, why Gotham can’t use the Joker name, and why Lucifer hasn’t been saved. AMC’s The Walking Dead is heading into its ninth season this fall, and the show is adding two new regulars to the cast. According to The Hollywood Reporter, actors Avi Nash and Callan McAuliffe have been upgraded to series regulars. The two joined the show as Siddiq and Alden, respectively, during season eight. The Walking Dead returns in October with new showrunner Angela Kang. HBO is bringing Watchmen back to life, and this news suggests it’ll happen sooner than later. According to Production Weekly (via ComicBook), the show’s working title is “Brooklyn.” This suggests that the show will be beginning production soon. Welcome to the latest installment of TV News Bits. Today, we have good news on Legion, two new regulars on Riverdale, a director for The Boys, hints at Constantine’s new role on Legends of Tomorrow, and confirmation of a character on Titans. While we’re still waiting on a renewal for Legion, fans are still getting a little more from the acclaimed FX season. The Boys, Riverdale, Smallville Today in our TV news roundup we have word that Karl Urban will star in Amazon’s The Boys. The news is coming from THR, and the show has already been greenlit for a series. For those of you who don’t know, The Boys is set in a darker superhero world than we are familiar with.
