Warner Bros. Pushes THE LEGO MOVIE SEQUEL to 2019 Release Date
Warner Bros. has made a few changes to its 2017-2019 film slate. Among these is a new date for The LEGO Movie Sequel, the highly anticipated follow-up to the 2014 animated movie. Unfortunately, the sequel has been delayed again. Details can be found below, courtesy of Deadline. The LEGO Movie Sequel was originally set for a May 2017 release, before being pushed to May 2018. But now, the film is scheduled for a February 8th, 2019 release. This would put it five years after the release of the original movie. No reason for the delay was given. The CW Announces Fall 2016 Premiere Dates for THE FLASH, ARROW, LEGENDS OF TOMORROW and SUPERGIRL
The CW has officially unveiled its fall 2016 schedule, consisting of premiere dates for new and returning shows. Among these are new seasons of the network’s four DC Comics shows. Be sure to mark the following dates and times on your calendars. The Flash will kick off The CW’s schedule with its season three premiere on Tuesday, October 4th at 8 PM EST. Arrow will have its season five premiere on Wednesday, October 5th at 8 PM EST. Fox Announces Premiere Date for New Seasons of GOTHAM and LUCIFER
Today, Fox has unveiled its fall schedule, including premiere dates for new and returning shows. Among those listed are Gotham‘s season three premiere and Lucifer‘s season two debut. Both shows will premiere on Monday, September 19th. Gotham opens in its usual 8 PM EST timeslot, while Lucifer follows at 9 PM EST. SUICIDE SQUAD Soundtrack Album Announced
In addition to the film’s musical score (composed by Steven Price), Suicide Squad will receive a soundtrack album composed of other songs in the movie. Suicide Squad: The Album will be released by Atlantic Records on August 5th, the same date as the film’s release. The album contains songs by Eminem, Panic! ARROW Casts Another New Ally for Oliver Queen in Season 5

Tyler Hoechlin Set to Play Superman on SUPERGIRL Season 2
A few weeks ago, it was confirmed that Superman is finally appearing in the flesh on Supergirl next season. ARROW Casts a New Vigilante While DC’s LEGENDS OF TOMORROW Adds Another Hero
We have a couple of casting updates for the next seasons of two of The CW’s DC shows, Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow. First up, Entertainment Weekly reports that actor Rick Gonzales will play Wild Dog on Arrow. Wild Dog is a new vigilante in Star City, and his “…reckless and cocksure nature prompts Green Arrow to take him under his wing.” This goes along with a recent casting breakdown. 2016 marks 75 years since the creation of Wonder Woman, the most iconic female superhero of all time. Rocksteady Announces BATMAN: ARKHAM VR for PlayStation
At E3 last night, a new game in Rocksteady’s acclaimed Batman: Arkham series was announced. But this one is not what you’d think. Titled Batman: Arkham VR, this is a virtual reality game that allows you to actually become Batman. In the game, the player gets to explore Gotham City, use gadgets and more. First Look at BATMAN: THE TELLTALE SERIES; Screenshots and Voice Cast Unveiled
With E3 taking place this week, there will be plenty of video game news coming in. Among the onslaught is a first look at Telltale’s Batman series. Titled Batman: The Telltale Series, the episodic saga will debut on home consoles, PC and mobile devices this summer. Now, we have some screenshots from the game, along with the voice cast.
