Robert De Niro in Talks to Join JOKER

confirms that De Niro is in negotiations to join the film. If a deal closes, De Niro would play a talk show host who plays a role in Joker’s origin. This would serve as the legendary actor’s first comic book movie.

The Joker movie is said to shoot in September this year, with a release date set for October 4th, 2019.
