According to GWW/Omega Underground, we have some new information about the upcoming Joker movie. Information about a character called Mr Warner. “MR. WARNER Supporting Male (60-70) [MR. WARNER] male, Caucasian, 60s, a deeply-tanned, hair dyed so black it was almost blue, highly successful, New York City businessman, rumored to be running for Mayor. Frances Conroy in Talks to Play JOKER’s Mother
Right after news about Robert De Niro being in negotiations to join Joker, The Wrap reports that Frances Conroy (who you might recognize from Sleepless in Seattle and American Horror Story) is in talks to play the mom of the title role that Joaquin Phoenix is playing. The Joker movie would not be the first time Miss Conroy would visit the world of DC Comics. She has lent her voices to projects like All-Star Superman and Superman Unbound.
