Warner Bros. has released the second trailer for its next DC film, Aquaman. AQUAMAN Will Reportedly Have a Post-Credits Scene
Post- and mid-credits scenes are becoming more and more common in blockbuster films. But while Suicide Squad and Justice League had additional scenes, DC Films’ other three titles did not. Thus, fans have wondered if we should expect more movies to follow suit. And if this new report is to be believed, DC’s next movie will do it. AQUAMAN Artwork Reveals Full Look at Ocean Master and Black Manta’s Costumes
The Aquaman hype train rolls on, as we wait for the film’s San Diego Comic-Con panel this Saturday. Today, Den of Geek has premiered its SDCC exclusive magazine, featuring breathtaking artwork based on the movie. The artwork features the film’s main cast, along with other characters and locations. Promotion for DC Films’ Aquaman is finally kicking off. We shared the teaser poster earlier today, while the trailer is set to premiere at San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday. Now, the hype continues. Djimon Hounsou is in AQUAMAN Too
It was announced this week that Djimon Hounsou is in DC’s Shazam! movie, replacing Ron Cephas Jones as The Wizard. This comes after he reprised the role of Korath in Captain Marvel. But it turns out that Hounsou has another role in DC Films’ universe; one that we’ll see even sooner, in fact. Entertainment Weekly has released a new image from Aquaman, featuring a first look at the rulers of the Fisherman Kingdom. The King is played by none other than Djimon Hounsou. WATCHMEN Pilot Adds More to Cast, Including AQUAMAN’s Yahya Abdul-Mateen II
Production on Damon Lindelof’s Watchmen pilot is well underway, and the potential series is being headlined by the likes of Regina King and Jeremy Irons. Now, we have some more additions to the cast. HBO has announced (via TV Line) that actors Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Sara Vickers, Tom Mison, Frances Fisher, and Jacob Ming-Trent have joined the Watchmen cast in major roles. This marks Abdul-Mateen II’s second DC role; he plays the villain Black Manta in this winter’s Aquaman movie. No character details have been disclosed yet. Fans have been wondering for a while when we’d get a first trailer for DC Films’ Aquaman. Now, we finally have confirmation – but get ready to wait a few more weeks. New AQUAMAN Stills Reveal the Villainous Black Manta and Orm
Entertainment Weekly is exploring the world of DC Films’ Aquaman in this week’s issue. In addition to the covers we saw earlier, the magazine debuted several still images from the movie. Some of them offer long-awaited first looks at the film’s villains, Black Manta and Orm. The Black Manta picture sees David Kane (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II) working on his helmet, which is very faithful to the comic book version.
