Paul’s 15 Most Anticipated Movies of 2022
The past couple years have been a rollercoaster ride when it comes to the film industry. With the ongoing pandemic affecting every area of life, there have been big changes in how we watch movies and what movies even come out. There have been delays, changes in production, and switching from theatrical to streaming. However, slowly but surely, movies are starting to make a return to form at theaters. We’ve had some box office successes in 2021, with blockbuster films finally coming back to theaters. Of course, the biggest hit was by far Spider-Man: No Way Home, which scored the second biggest opening weekend of all time and is currently…

FLASH SPOILER Review: Episode 7×04- “Central City Strong”
The Flash (7×04)- “Central City Strong” Written by: Joshua V Gilbert & Jeff Hersh Directed by: Jeff Byrd The episode opens with Iris coming home to a romantic candlelit dinner with Barry. Which is interrupted by a minor earthquake and (unbeknownst to our happy couple some more of the colored lightning) before our title sequence. The next day, the STAR Labs team is working on helping the city rebuild while The Flash is interviewed by the not-at-all-overly-dramatic TV host that interviewed Eva. It’s mostly just an excuse for some banter between the gang. Until Caitlin takes a couple of moments to look either ill or troubled. Potentially both. Allegra then…

FLASH SPOILER Review: Episode 7×03- “Mother”
The Flash (7×03)- “Mother” Written by: Eric Wallace & Kristen Kim Directed by: David McWhirter Picking up pretty much we left the team last week with Cisco, Allegra and Frost coming to. They find Barry kneeling over Iris and if you couldn’t tell by the end of the last episode his little experiment with emotional suppression is over cause he looks to be so far into The Manly Tears that he could break out into Ugly Crying at any second. So, the gang has got some serious problems… Barry has no powers, Singh and Kamilla are trapped in the mirror dimension, dying, Iris is just as fried and did I…

Zack Snyder’s Justice League Review – The Age of Heroes Has Returned
So, this is awkward. Almost four years ago, I reviewed Justice League (2017). and enjoyed it for the Frankenstein it was. I was never a fan of Zack Snyder’s work and didn’t care to see his vision for the DC Universe continue. However, his Justice League changed everything. This is a weird review to write because it’s technically a movie you’ve already seen. The premise is straightforward. Like I said in 2017: “There’s an alien threat coming to take over the world. Batman assembles a team of heroes to try and stop them. It’s simple and straight to the point.” However, the biggest difference is the way Snyder treats his characters. We…

FLASH SPOILER Review: Episode 7×02- “The Speed of Thought”
The Flash (7×02)- “The Speed of Thought” Written by: Jonathan Butler & Gabriel Garza Directed by: Alexandra La Roche This week opens with a memorial for all the Wells, they even went to the trouble of Time proofing the memorial because… Well, Barry’s go-to move is changing the timeline so I’m betting Cisco’s time-proofed most of his stuff at this point. Speaking of Barry, he’s starting to realize that wearing your heart on your sleeve is not the best course of action for a superhero. Over at the Newspaper, Allegra is mourning Nash when she gets a notification on her computer. Probably Discord because that program is relentless. You can…

FLASH SPOILER Review: Episode 7×01- “All’s Well That Ends Wells”
The Flash (7×01)- “All’s Well That Ends Wells” Written by: Sam Chalsen & Lauren Certo Directed by: Geoffrey Wing Shotz Okay! You’re not writing about the Mandalorian anymore. You’re writing about the Flash… You can do this. After a one hundred and fifteen thousand years, The Flash is back and it’s a doozy! First off, the recap was very useful. Afterwards we open on Chester monitoring the computers at STAR Labs when Eva shows up so Chester hints a button and brings Barry out of carbon freeze… Wait! That’s something else! Apparently they been keeping Barry in cryo-freeze alongside Ted Williams and Walt Disney to save what little speed he…

5 DC Movie/TV Characters We Want to See in THE FLASH Movie
This week, news broke that DC‘s The Flash/Flashpoint movie will feature a Batman – but not the one anyone expected. Michael Keaton, the star of Batman (1989) and Batman Returns, is in talks to return to his iconic role, in what is said to be the first of several appearances throughout the DC Extended Universe. This opens all kinds of doors for the film. Once thought to be just a loose adaptation of the Flashpoint comic, The Flash will now give moviegoers a glimpse of the DC Multiverse. This can allow for other characters from DC’s film and television history to appear. We saw this in The CW’s Crisis on…

The Flash (6×19)- “Success Is Assured” Written by: Kelly Wheeler & Lauren Barnett Directed by: Philip Chipera Makeshift Season Finale time, Let’s GO! We start with Not-Singh on the phone talking with Mayor while Eva shows of her Super-Villain suit. It’s not just for show, it’s keeping her powers from getting out of control. FLASH SPOILER Review: Episode 6×18- “Pay the Piper”
The Flash (6×18)- “Pay the Piper” Written by: Jess Carson Directed by: Amanda Tapping This week opens with Joe in witness protection and he’s looking like most people are feeling after six weeks of house arrest- I mean, “quarantine.” That is to say, frustrated and crazy. Uh-oh, he’s hearing voices… but since they’re voices recapping his situation I don’t think he’s crazy yet. Joe then pulls a gun on a dark corner of the room… Maybe- Nah! Barry emerges from the shadows looking like a guy that literally lost a fight with a mirror and he tells Joe about the Iris dilemma. Joe points out all the things they should…

FLASH SPOILER Review: Episode 6×17- “Liberation”
The Flash (6×17)- “Liberation” Written by: Jonathan Butler & Gabriel Garza Directed by: Jeff Byrd We start off with Cisco, Ralph and Barry making at first attempt at the reboot of the Speed Force and it goes about as well as you’d expect any attempt at something like this to be while we’re still in late Act Two of our story arc. A whole lot of noise, then a whole lot of nothing. (To be fair, there were some promising signs to suggest that something will reignite the Speed Force but we’ll get there.) That’s when Cecile shows up trying to get Barry and Iris to reconcile but Barry’s not…
