Review: A Parks & Recreation Special
The world of entertainment seems have come to a screeching halt as of late, thanks to COVID-19, so blockbuster movies from the likes of No Time To Die and Black Widow (among dozens of others) have been pushed back to later in the year, tentpole television shows like Falcon & The Winter Soldier and Stranger Things 4 have halted production, and some of the most highly anticipated films of 2021 like The Batman and Jurassic World: Dominion have paused filming. That didn’t stop showrunner Mike Schur from giving the world a brand new episode of his beloved workplace sitcom Parks & Recreation, five years after the series finale; and all…

Review: SPLIT (2017)
*WARNING: THIS REVIEW CONTAINS MAJOR SPOILERS* When the trailers for M. Night Shyamalan’s Split hit the web, I had no idea what I was in for. While Shyamalan’s first collaboration with Jason Blum, The Visit, felt like a true return to form for me, I was still a tad weary of the film. But the more I heard, the more I became intrigued. And by release date, I was there, excited to see what the film was going to entail. By the time the credits rolled, I realized that it had completely blown my expectations out of the water. Split follows Casey Cooke (Anya Taylor-Joy), a shy introverted teenager who is kidnapped along…

Review: BIG HERO 6
Back in 2014, Walt Disney Animation Studios was hot off their 2013 mega-hit Frozen, a film so huge that it is still fresh inside our heads today. So there was a lot of curiosity surrounding the next film from the famed animated studio entitled Big Hero 6. The film is loosely based around a little-known Marvel comic that debuted in 1998, but not even massive Marvel comics fan were that familiar with the characters. Sometimes taking a lot of liberties with your source material can go south extremely fast, but often times it can benefit big time. That’s the case with Big Hero 6. The film follows 14-year-old child prodigy…

Netflix has announced that a live-action series is in development. Deadline reports that the new series will be made in partnership with Nickelodeon…
