CW’s THE FLASH Sets Amanda Pays To Reprise Tina McGee Role From 1990 Series
One of the most exciting additions to the cast of The CW’s The Flash was John Wesley Shipp, who played the Scarlet Speedster in the early 1990s series. In this new series, the former Flash plays Henry Allen, the father of Grant Gustin’s Barry who is wrongly accused of murdering his wife, Nora. Henry will recur throughout the series. And now, the Arrow spin-off has added another actor from The Flash‘s original show, and it may serve as even more nostalgia for fans. According to Variety, actress Amanda Pays is set to play Dr. Tina McGee, a character she played in the 1990s Flash series. In that show, McGee was Barry Allen’s love…

Ben Affleck Talks Sharing The Trait Of Rage With Batman And Signing On For BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE
Ben Affleck has not talked much about playing the Dark Knight in 2016’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, which is unsurprising due to the expected secretive nature of DC’s films. But with his new film Gone Girl being released next month, he will surely be asked a number of questions during the press tour. And inevitably, The Sunday Times (via ComicBook.com) spoke with Affleck about portraying Batman. When asked why he decided to accept the offer to join Batman v Superman, Affleck said, “To get the exposure to a movie of this scale is an education.” While the actor has prior comic book movie experience with Daredevil, Dawn of…

Zack Snyder’s Latest BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE Image Teaser Pokes More Fun At STAR WARS
While filming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice this year, director Zack Snyder found a clever way to have some fun on the set of the highly anticipated team-up. He previously shared a couple of images on Twitter combining the DC Universe with none other than Star Wars, which will make its triumphant return next year with Episode VII. One of Snyder’s images showed Henry Cavill’s Superman draped in a black cloak – the kind that he has worn on set to cover his costume – holding a Sith lightsaber, while another one showed a Batman action figure alongside R2-D2. Snyder’s latest is perhaps the funniest yet, as it deals with a…

Live Action Teen TITANS Pilot Starring Nightwing Ordered By TNT
The Teen Titans are no strangers to television. In the early 2000s, the group headlined the Teen Titans animated series, which was more recently rebooted as a far more kid friendly show called Teen Titans Go! after a slew of successful DC Nation shorts. A similar group, Young Justice, was also the focus of the acclaimed animated show of the same name. Now, the DC Universe’s younger heroes are heading to live action, becoming the focus of DC’s latest television series. TNT has ordered the superhero drama pilot Titans, which was written by Akiva Goldsman and Marc Haimes, both of whom will executive produce the potential series as well. Fans…

Stephen Amell Talks Building The Justice League In The ARROW Universe, Bringing In Green Lantern, A SUICIDE SQUAD Spin-Off And More
At Fan Expo Canada 2014 (via Comic Book Resources), Arrow star Stephen Amell talked in detail about the CW series’ highly anticipated third season. After giving a rundown of the season’s plot and naming the multiple comic book television shows that will be airing this year, he adds his own suggestion to the list: a Suicide Squad spin-off. “Instead of doing 23 episodes of Arrow, I’d love to do 17. Then, in the middle of the year, we could do six episodes of the Suicide Squad. Then I could go on vacation.” Many fans have been hoping to see the Suicide Squad headline their own series after an impressive episode…

While it has been glimpsed in a couple of official images, the Batmobile that will be driven by the Dark Knight in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has recently been spotted on the film’s set, giving us a closer look at the iconic vehicle. Of course, these set photos didn’t do the latest cinematic incarnation of Batman’s ride justice (no pun intended). Luckily, director Zack Snyder decided to remedy that with his latest tease for the highly anticipated superhero team-up. Taking to Twitter once more, Snyder shared the latest promotional image from Batman v Superman, giving us our best look at the movie’s Batmobile to date. This take on the…

Greg Berlanti Talks THE FLASH Villains, Crisis And The ARROW Crossovers
Speaking with FlashTVNews at PaleyFest recently, The Flash executive producer Greg Berlanti discusses the highly anticipated Arrow spin-off. While talking about his love for the Crisis on Infinite Earths storyline – which saw the death of the Scarlet Speedster – in the comics, he was asked if we could ever see an event similar to it in the CW series. “A lot of stars would have to align, I think, and we’d have to be really, really blessed and lucky to actually build toward that.” Talk then turned to The Flash‘s planned crossovers with Arrow. Of course, the latter’s Felicity Smoak will visit Central City in episode four of the spin-off…
