Two New Characters Being Cast for LEGENDS OF TOMORROW Season 2

There are only three episodes left in the first season of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, but casting is already underway for the show’s second season. According to TV Line, the series is looking to add two new characters. They will both be series regular roles for season two.

The first character is a man, in the late 20s/early 30s range, who “…grew up in the shadow of his World War II hero grandfather and has used a Han Solo-like facade to conceal his insecurity — until, that is, the development of super powers enables him to love up to his family legacy.”

The second role Legends of Tomorrow is currently casting is described as “…a female member of an elite paramilitary team living in the 1940s. An African-American, she is scrutinized in her time for both her gender and race and thus has worked twice as hard to be a perfect soldier. That said, she blames herself for — and aims to avenge — the death of a team member for whom she had repressed feelings.”

It’s unknown whether Legends of Tomorrow season two will stick to its midseason schedule, or if it’ll move to this fall. This season is expected to be very different from the first, with new characters, a new mission and new stakes. Stay tuned for more news as we have it.
