Review: SPIDER-MAN 3 (2007)
Check out my summary and review of Spider-Man 3 (2007) below! Check out reviews of Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2 on the links! We start out with MJ on Broadway, and Peter is actually in the audience! Harry is in the higher sections, watching MJ, and Peter. After the play, Peter spots Harry, and he tries to chat with Harry, but Harry tells Peter to raise Norman Osborn from the grave. We see the Goblin glider, mask, and then Harry in a chamber, with green smoke coming out of it reminiscent of Spider-Man 1. We then head to a park, where we spy MJ and Peter on a web, and an asteroid…

SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING on Track to Open in the $100 Million Range
The original Spider-Man franchise had consistently been one of the biggest players in the comic book movie genre, but the Amazing Spider-Man films’ grosses paled in comparison to Sam Raimi’s trilogy. In 2014, Amazing Spider-Man 2 became the lowest grossing installment to date, despite the huge $250m+ budget (not counting marketing). Fortunately, with Marvel Studios now involved, the franchise is about to make a comeback. According to Deadline, Spider-Man: Homecoming is on track to open anywhere between $90 million and $108 million next month. This is a solid start for the new reboot, which has a budget of somewhere over $100 million, on par with most Marvel Studios films and much less than…

Highlights From WONDER WOMAN Set Visits Reveal New Story Details and More
Last year, a group of movie websites visited the set of DC Films’ Wonder Woman. Today, they get to publish what they saw and learned about the highly anticipated movie. Collider posted a lengthy list of highlights from the set visit, and we’ll share some of them here. These include new details on the film’s plot, confirmation of many characters, and more. As previously stated, Wonder Woman will have bookend scenes set in the present day (aka after the events of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice). But otherwise, the film takes place in World War I for Diana’s origin story. As a child, Diana learns about the creation of…

BATMAN ARKHAM Is Finished; Rocksteady Says Farewell To The Dark Knight
Batman: Arkham VR is just around the corner; and it will mark the end of Rocksteady Studios’ Arkham franchise. Producer Dax Ginn spoke with Eurogamer saying: “We submitted [Batman VR to Sony] last week which was an awesome experience.” The game is completely done and will hit store (or PlayStation Network) shelves in a matter of days. It’s nice to hear that the game is ready to go, but what’s next for the studio? We really want to know what’s their next console or VR experience. Sadly, Ginn seems like he doesn’t know more than we do. When Eurogamer posed the question to Ginn he replied saying: “To be honest…

THEORY: A Marvel Spy Caused The Failure Of BATMAN V SUPERMAN And The Downfall Of The DCEU
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice came out last month, and I think it’s safe to say that the movie was a failure akin to the likes of New Coke and McDonald’s disastrous 90’s burger The Arch Deluxe. It may seem like a bit of an exaggeration to compare DC’s latest flop to some of these foods/beverages, but really, these are all things that are horrible and lost their respective companies billions of dollars. The failure of Batman v Superman specifically can be pointed to Zack Snyder, who shat out two of the worst abominations of all time, first with Man of Steel and then with its “sequel.” You may…

REVIEW: Superman IV: The Quest for Peace
Superman IV: The Quest for Peace (1987) Written By: Lawrence Konner and Mark Rosenthal Directed By: Sidney J Furie I opened my reviews of Superman III and Supergirl with a question, so it’s only fair to ask one going into this one. What were they thinking? I’m kidding… Kind of, but to ask this question I have to set the scene. After Superman III and Supergirl, the Salkinds felt that maybe the bloom was off the rose and it was time to walk away. Enter Cannon Films. For those of you that aren’t film geeks, Cannon Films was a studio not unlike The Asylum (Makers of the Sharknado series.) They…
