First Trailer for WONDER WOMAN Officially Released
At San Diego Comic-Con today, Warner Bros. showcased next year’s Wonder Woman movie. Included at the panel is the film’s first official trailer. The footage gives us a great look at Diana Prince in action, promising a wonderful (pun intended) addition to the DC Extended Universe. DC Announces its Animated Film Slate for 2017
Batman: The Killing Joke was present at Comic-Con, along with DC’s animation team. The panel featured producer Bruce Timm, Kevin Conroy (Batman), and Tara Strong (Batgirl). They talked about how Mark Hamill’s Joker is the same as we remember, only scarier. While the cast and crew talked about The Killing Joke, the wasn’t the biggest news of the night. Warner Bros. has confirmed DC’s next three animated films: Justice League Dark, Teen Titans: The Judas Contract and Batman & Harley Quinn [a Bruce Timm original film]. INJUSTICE 2 Will Take Inspiration From All of DC Media; Receives Tie-In Comic
Today Injustice had their own panel at Comic-Con; we learned of two new characters and some new gameplay footage – all of this can be seen here. AQUAMAN Recruits Will Beall to Write Latest Script
Back in 2014, Warner Bros. hired Will Beall and Kurt Johnstad to write two competing scripts for Aquaman, in a dual-track format. Johnstad later landed the job, before David Leslie Johnson was hired to rewrite the draft. Now, Beall is returning to the DC film. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Beall has been hired to write the latest draft of Aquaman. This time, his script will be based on a “detailed” story treatment written by director James Wan and DC Films co-chief Geoff Johns. SDCC Posters for WONDER WOMAN and THE LEGO BATMAN MOVIE Released
Warner Bros. will hold its Hall H panel at San Diego Comic-Con tomorrow, where it will spotlight several upcoming films. Today, we have some posters for two of those movies. First up, we have the first official teaser poster for Wonder Woman. This is a simple but beautiful one-sheet, highlighting the colors of Diana’s uniform. The movie hits theaters on June 2nd, 2017. Additionally, we have a new poster for The LEGO Batman Movie. This one features Bruce Wayne unmasking himself. The film hits theaters on February 10th, 2017. Here’s Our First Look At JUSTICE LEAGUE ACTION
San Diego Comic-Con is now underway and we have our first bit of news. Cartoon Network has released a sizzle reel for their new animated series, Justice League Action. With Kevin Conroy returning as Batman and Mark Hamill reprising his role as the Joker, we hope that this show delivers. Check out the Sizzle Reel down below! Arrow will hold its San Diego Comic-Con panel on Saturday, where we should learn much more about the show’s fifth season. For now, though, we have a few new hints on what to expect next season.
