Opinion: Why POKEMON STADIUM Needs to Return
I can imagine some reactions right now. Going from being confused, horrified or downright shocked. Getting nightmares from the days of old on how a simple random trailer could be so horrifying because you were afraid that a gamble you took would fail miserably. For you that wonder what I’m talking about, let me give you some context. On August 1, 1999, Pokemon Stadium was released in Japan, with a western release one year later. While there isn’t a story to follow or Pokemon to catch, there is still the access to defeat gym leaders and different types of tournaments. You also have the chance to play some small variety…

REVIEW: Pokemon XD Gale of Darkness
Pokemon XD Gale Darkness is a sequel to Pokemon Colosseum. It takes place in the same region, but a couple of years after the events that happened in the previous game. While you don’t play as the same character as before, the objective is still the same, and the use of only double battles is here as well. How does it compare compared to Colosseum? It has its advantage towards it, but also disadvantages. Unlike Colusseum, Gale of Darkness allows you to save wherever you are, compared to Coliseum who hade the idiotic inclusion of save stations. Something that Gale of Darkness also has improvements on is about purification (which is the part of…

Alita: Battle Angel is one of those movies that I can’t wait to watch. With the third trailer now released, my anticipation for this movie has been raised a lot. As a fan of both the manga and the ova, I can’t wait to watch this. What do you think of this trailer? Do you like it? Do you dislike it? Comment below and let us know or tweet to us at @WOBAMEnt.

First ELSEWORLDS Promo Rewrites Arrowverse History
There is a lot to look forward to if you are a DC Comics fan. Be it Aquaman and Joker on the big screen, or Gotham and the Arrowverse on the smaller screen. The latter one has now released a small teaser for their upcoming “Elseworlds” event, featuring Oliver Queen and Iris West. To put it lightly, they’re taking the “Oliver Queen and Barry Allen swapping places” concept very seriously. What do you think of this teaser? Comment below and let us know, or tweet to us at @WOBAMEnt.

BLACK LIGHTNING Shifting to Monday Nights, LEGENDS OF TOMORROW Heading for Big Hiatus
The CW has announced its midseason schedule for early 2019, and it includes a couple big changes for the network’s DC slate. Black Lightning will be moving from Tuesday nights to Mondays at 9 PM EST, beginning on January 21st, after the midseason return of Arrow. This marks the first schedule change for the show, which has occupied the Tuesdays at 9 slot for its first season and a half. The Mondays at 9 slot has been held by Legends of Tomorrow, so what will that show do for midseason? Well, after its midseason finale in December, the show will be on hiatus until April. It will return to its…

Review: POKEMON COLOSSEUM
In Colosseum, you follow the protagonist of Wes, a mysterious young man that becomes the keystone to stop an evil organization that does evil experience with Pokemon. With me reviewing Pokemon Yellow and Pokemon Crystal, some of you probably thought that Emerald was next. You were close to being right since I was a finger snap from doing so. However, looking through the pile of Pokemon games, I realized that I owned some that deserves more recognition. One of them is Pokemon Colosseum. Besides being the first 3D Adventure game for Pokemon (as well as the first home console RPG), Colosseum is breaking the mold when it comes to a…

First DETECTIVE PIKACHU Trailer Released
The idea of a live action Pokemon is something I’ve personally been against from day one. The reason for that is I’ve always felt the design doesn’t work for CGI which would be needed. So you can understand my reaction when I’ve heard the news about a live-action adaptation of the spin-off game of Detective Pikachu. Flash forward to today, and we have the first trailer to the movie. Had this been an animated film, it would have sold me right on the go. However, this movie is not animated. I was not a fan of how the Pokemon looked, but who knows. Maybe they will look better once the movie…

FEATURE: Nine Pokemon that Need an Evolution
9. Weezing Some of you might ask. What? Weezing? He is used competitively from time to time. While I do stand that Weezing doesn’t need one when it comes to stats, abilities and all that jazz, I think they there is still potential in the Weezing family. That’s why this Pokemon is so low on the list. 8. RapidashWhile this is not as reliable as Weezing, I would argue that Rapidash is here due to the same reason. The potential of what they could make with this fire horse design could go much further than just a stereotypical unique. Maybe give it wings and go full mythology? 7. Lanturn Granted,…

VENOM Sets Record-Breaking Opening in China, Nears $700 Million Worldwide
Venom is still going strong, and this weekend, it finally opened in China, where it has had a record-breaking opening weekend. The Sony Marvel movie is opening with an estimated $111 million, which is one of the biggest movie debuts in China’s history. It is the second biggest superhero opening, behind Avengers: Infinity War‘s $191 million, while it is Sony’s largest debut in the country. And sure enough, this is giving the movie a huge boost in its box office. Venom is now at $206.2 million domestically and $467.3 million overseas, bringing its worldwide total to $673.5 million. That number is bound to go higher as it continues in China…

Review: POKEMON CRYSTAL
Pokemon Crystal is the second generations’ answer to Pokemon Yellow (although Yellow was closer to the anime than what Crystal was). Just like before, you play as an avatar who gets access to a Pokemon, so that you can take on the gym leader challenge while stopping an evil organization along the way. Outside of introducing more Pokemon and two new types (steel and dark), the second generation added new mechanics. Day and Night Cycles A mechanic that is what you think it is. The game has its own day/night interaction with it being day and night in the game depending on what time you chose at the start. The…
