Batman’s Absence in the Arrowverse Explained in “Elseworlds” Crossover
For the longest time, fans of The CW have had one question: Where is Batman? The shows have vaguely referenced the character off and on. Last season, Arrow namedropped Bruce Wayne directly, while this year’s “Elseworlds” crossover will introduce Gotham City and Batwoman, who is also getting her own series. But despite all this, The CW has no plans for an actual Batman appearance. Fortunately, though, Bat-fans will get the next best thing in “Elseworlds.” The shows’ producers have confirmed that the event will address the whereabouts of Batman, revealing his place in the Arrowverse. Apparently, Batman has been missing for a few years. This had led to a huge…

Check Out The Final Trailer For AQUAMAN
Another trailer for Aquaman has arrived through the bottle post of the endless ocean. While there isn’t a ton of new footage in this trailer, we do get some glimpses of Willem Dafoe and his character of Nuidis Volko. Can I also point out that the classic suit looks far better than expected? Anyway, December 21st is hopefully here sooner rather than later. From Warner Bros. Pictures and director James Wan comes an action-packed adventure that spans the vast, visually breathtaking underwater world of the seven seas, Aquaman, starring Jason Momoa in the title role. The film reveals the origin story of half-human, half-Atlantean Arthur Curry and takes him on…

First Trailer for ONCE UPON A DEADPOOL
I think we all got so confused that we forgot our chimichangas in the microwave only to find them two days later when 20th Century Fox announced that a PG-13 version of Deadpool 2 was going to be released this December. At first, some people (myself included) thought it was an out of season April Fool’s joke, but it turns out that it was real. However, if you still need proof, Fox has now released the teaser trailer for the PG-13 version, which is called Once Upon a Deadpool. The focus on the trailer is the interaction between Deadpool and the actor Fred Savage, playing himself. Check it out below.…

SUPERGIRL Casts Jon Cryer as Lex Luthor for Season 4
Last month, it was announced that Lex Luthor is finally making his Arrowverse debut on Supergirl later this season. Now, the character has been cast, and the actor has quite the role in Luthor history. It has been announced that Jon Cryer (Two and a Half Men) is set to play Lex Luthor. He will first appear on Supergirl in episode 15 of this season, and from there, he will be a recurring character. Funnily enough, Cryer previously played Lenny Luthor – aka Lex’s nephew – in 1987’s Superman IV: The Quest for Peace. And now, he has ascended to the role of Lex himself. Producers Robert Rovner and Jessica…

AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. Already Renewed for Season 7
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. won’t be back for its season six premiere until next summer, but the Marvel series is already confirmed to live on beyond that. ABC has announced that Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will return for a seventh season. Despite the show’s consistently low ratings, ABC has shown confidence in its creative direction. It is also an opportunity to push the Marvel brand on a weekly basis. No premiere date for season seven has been confirmed yet, but expect it to begin sometime in 2020. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. ended its fifth season this year on a major cliffhanger, leaving the fates of two lead characters in the balance. It will be…

Review: POKKEN TOURNAMENT DX
Let’s finish off this Pokemon Week with yet another spin-off title. This time, it’s Pokken Tournament. Pokken was first released back in 2015 for Wii U, with an “expansion pack” of the game going by the name of Pokken Tournament DX releasing in September last year. It’s the Expansion pack for Nintendo Switch that I’m reviewing today. The game is a 3D fighter in the style of Namco Bandai’s usual style for their fighting games. Have you played games like Naruto Shippuden Ninja Storm, Soul Calibur or Tekken, I can’t see you have a problem to get into this game. The game works smoothly and is easy to understand. For…
