The CW Orders ARROW/FLASH Spin-Off to Series; Official Title and Plot Logline Revealed
With Upfronts set for next week, television networks are in the process of ordering new shows. Following CBS’ pickup of Supergirl yesterday, The CW has now given a series order for its The Flash/Arrow spin-off. After months of speculation, the official title for this series is DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. The series stars Arrow and The Flash supporting characters Brandon Routh as Ray Palmer/Atom, Caity Lotz as Sara Lance (?), Wentworth Miller as Leonard Snart/Captain Cold, Dominic Purcell as Mick Rory/Heat Wave and Victor Garber as Martin Stein. David Ayer Talks SUICIDE SQUAD in Behind-The-Scenes Set Video
Production on Suicide Squad is well underway in Toronto, and Entertainment City has shared a behind-the-scenes video straight from the film’s set. It shows on-set shots of Will Smith as Deadshot, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flagg and more characters. The news outlet also spoke with the film’s writer and director, David Ayer. In the interview, Ayer praised the movie’s ensemble cast and chemistry, saying that these characters have “lives and souls.” Clearly, the director is passionate about working with this cast, and that will likely show in the final product. Tom Hardy Teases Involvement with Another DC Comics Property
Tom Hardy certainly has a history with Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment, having played Bane in 2012’s The Dark Knight Rises. The CW Renews iZOMBIE for Second Season
While their presentation in New York for the Fall Season is still over a week away, the CW network started their announcements a little early. Today they announced that mid-season pick-up series iZombie will return next season. It’s official: Kara Zor-El will soon be returning to the small screen in her own live action series. CBS has confirmed that Supergirl has been ordered to series, marking the latest milestone in DC Entertainment’s television success. New “Superhero Fight Club” Banner Assembles the Heroes and Villains of ARROW and THE FLASH
A few weeks ago, The CW released a promo video for Arrow and The Flash called “Superhero Fight Club.” As one might expect, it showcases the heroes of both shows facing off against their respective antagonists. A slew of posters were later released to accompany the clever promo, and now, the network has unveiled a banner featuring these characters.
