The CW Unveils 2016-2017 Schedule, Now with Five DC/Vertigo Shows

Today is The CW’s turn to present at Upfronts 2016, and the network has now unveiled its schedule for the 2016-2017 television year. This fall will see a record four DC shows running four days in a row. Additionally, one show has been moved to midseason.

  • Supergirl, which will get its second season on The CW after debuting on CBS, will retain its Mondays at 8 PM EST timeslot.
  • The Flash will keep the Tuesdays at 8 PM EST slot for its third season next year.
  • Arrow will stick to Wednesdays at 8 PM EST, five years in a row.
  • DC’s Legends of Tomorrow premiered this midseason, and it’s moving to the fall for its second season. The show will retain the Thursdays at 8 PM EST timeslot.
  • Meanwhile, Vertigo series iZombie will move to midseason for its third season. The show premiered in midseason last year, then moved to the fall for season two.
