AQUAMAN is Now the Biggest DCEU Film Ever Worldwide
DC Films’ Aquaman has been an absolute juggernaut, setting new box office highs for the franchise. This week, the movie has now reached a new milestone, as it continues its quest to $1 billion worldwide.
Aquaman has currently grossed $238.3 million domestically and $649.3 million overseas, bringing its worldwide total to $887.6 million. This puts it past Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice‘s $873 million as the biggest DC Films title in history. Internationally, it has passed The Dark Knight Rises ($636.8 million) as the highest grossing DC title overall.
Aquaman is expected to hit $900 million today, and it is barreling closer and closer to the coveted $1 billion mark. This serves as an indisputable win for DC, making the franchise’s future more promising than ever.
