Since then, we’ve heard little on the project, with various casting and production rumors being unsubstantiated. But now, we have an official update, and it sounds promising. At TNT’s Upfronts panel today, president Kevin Reilly acknowledged that there has been quite a wait for Titans, but the hope is that “maybe this summer,” the network will lock down casting and a production start…

Fox Releases First Trailer for LUCIFER Series
“What if the decided to Devil quit?“ This is the question asked by the teaser for Fox’s Lucifer below: The trailer seems to showcase what will have to be the series’ biggest strength; the charisma of Tom Ellis as the title character. It also seems to be Lucifer’s primary weapon as in the three minute trailer he is shown using his charm (even calling them as such at one point) to his advantage. To his credit, Ellis does seem to be charming in the role. The show also hints at the driving premise of the show, angered by the death of someone he knows he teams up with Lauren German’s…

Any DC Television Series Can Crossover, Says ARROW Star Stephen Amell
Despite DC Entertainment having several television shows on the air and in development, most of them are on different networks. Arrow, The Flash and the upcoming DC’s Legends of Tomorrow are at The CW, while Fox has Gotham and next fall’s Lucifer. Meanwhile, CBS has Supergirl, TNT is developing Titans, and NBC recently cancelled Constantine. Given the different networks, many assumed that these shows would exist in their own separate world, other than The CW’s. However, it looks like crossovers within the DC Television Universe are not off the table. Appearing at Wizard World Philadelphia Comic-Con (via ComicBook.com), Arrow star Stephen Amell talked about both film and television crossovers. He reaffirmed…

NBC Has Officially Canceled CONSTANTINE
Despite DC Entertainment’s recent success on television, one series that has struggled was NBC’s Constantine. The show, which is the second live action version of fan-favorite character John Constantine, was not given a full 20-something episode first season. Instead, it concluded with 13 episodes, which is shorter than, say, Arrow and The Flash‘s 23 episode seasons. Constantine struggled with ratings – a 10 pm on Friday slot for its first episodes has received some blame for that – leading to doubts of a second season. Despite a “#SaveConstantine” movement from a dedicated fanbase, it looks like John Constantine won’t be back on NBC this fall. It has been confirmed that…
