Fox Unveils its 2015-2016 Schedule; GOTHAM Retains Monday Slot as LUCIFER Moves to Midseason
With Upfronts scheduled for this week, television networks are now unveiling their finalized schedules for the 2015-2016 season. This morning, Fox has revealed its lineup. Unsurprisingly, Gotham will remain in its Monday at 8 PM EST slot when its second season premieres this fall.
The Batman prequel series will be paired with The Minority Report, a television adaptation of the 2002 film starring Tom Cruise. An exact premiere date for Gotham season two is unknown, but don’t be surprised if it debuts in September like the first season did.
Meanwhile, we have a little longer to wait for Lucifer to premiere. The Vertigo adaptation is now a part of Fox’s midseason lineup for early next year, and it is expected to debut in January alongside the return of The X-Files. Afterwards, it will be paired with Gotham.
