Steven Spielberg Joining the DC Universe with BLACKHAWK Movie
Warner Bros. has just announced its DC Films project, and the studio has brought the world’s most iconic filmmaker on board. Steven Spielberg is set to produce an adaptation of DC’s Blackhawk, with an eye to direct. Spielberg is known for….. well, you already know who Spielberg is. DC’s Harley Quinn/Birds of Prey Movie Finds a Director
Following the success of Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad, Warner Bros. put several potential films starring the character into development. There’s the direct sequel from filmmaker Gavin O’Conner, while David Ayer was attached to Gotham City Sirens. Then there’s a Birds of Prey-type movie and Harley Quinn vs. The Joker. After the events of Superman/Batman: Public Enemies we have a new adventure for our heroes. This film is the origin of Kara Zor-El aka Supergirl. Thanos’ Origin Will Be Told in New Novel
While Thanos is essentially be the main character in Avengers: Infinity War, we’re apparently not going to see his origin story play out in detail. With the film running for about 2 and a half hours and featuring dozens of other Marvel characters, this decision makes sense.
