FLASH SPOILER Review: Episode 4×17- “Null and Annoyed”
The Flash (4×17) – “Null and Annoyed” Written by: Lauren Certo & Kristen Kim Directed by: Kevin Smith “It’s that time of year again” is a phrase I use a lot in the spring. Usually when I see Roman Reigns is about to Main Event WrestleMania, and usually in the same way someone would say, “I’m getting audited.” (Roman is why wrestling fans are learning Japanese.) In this case, it’s a more positive tone because everyone’s favorite mid-nineties slacker film director Kevin Smith has returned! I’m excited for two reasons: First, every week I sit down to write these reviews vowing to reign myself in and change the…

SUPERMAN: DOOMSDAY Review
Before I start off this review, I just want to clarify something. I’ve never been giving the chance to read Death of Superman, which the movie is supposedly based upon. So I’m going to approach this as a movie on its own and not how it stands as an adaptation. I tried to find some means to read it before I watched it, but with how iconic this comic is, I think you know why I was unable to. With that said, let’s get to the review. When LexCorp accidentally releasing a terrible monster named Doomsday, Superman is up against his most powerful foe yet. As I said in the…

Review: GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2
This review is part of our 20 Days of Infinity War. Click here to for more WOBAM awesome. – The sailor said “Brandy, you’re a fine girl (you’re a fine girl) What a good wife you would be (such a fine girl) Yeah your eyes could steal a sailor from the sea” The first Guardians of the Galaxy came out of Knowhere (Someday I will stop recycling that line, but that day isn’t today). Had you heard of the Guardians before the movie was announced? I sure hadn’t. I bet most movie goers hadn’t. But now here we are, on the cusp of their third theatrical outing in Avengers: Infinity War. Dang.…

Movie News Bits: AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR, X-FORCE, THE BATMAN, ATOMIC BLONDE 2, ANT-MAN AND THE WASP
Welcome to our latest installment of Movie News Bits. Today, we have some new details on Marvel Studios’ next two films, why Jeff Wadlow’s X-Force didn’t happen, and confirmation of an Atomic Blonde sequel. Meanwhile, Jake Gyllenhaal addresses those Batman rumors. Literally every single Marvel Studios movie so far has been rated PG-13, and Avengers: Infinity War is no exception. The MPAA (via BoxOfficeMojo) gave its rating for “intense sequences of sci-fi violence and action throughout, language and some crude references.” Sci-fi violence and language are in these movies non-stop, so that’s not surprising. Crude references? Hmm…maybe a middle finger or something? Avengers: Infinity War is set to hit theaters…

Review: CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER
This review is part of our 20 Days of Infinity War. Click here for more WOBAM awesome. – No franchise film has ever reset the board quite like The Winter Soldier. In little more than two hours time, Bucky was back, SHEILD was obliterated, Fury was on the run, Steve’s loyalty was questioned, Natasha’s ledger was made bare, and people we trusted were proven the enemy. It was an exciting time to be a Marvel fan, and an even more exciting time to be a movie fan. Joe & Anthony Russo came virtually out of nowhere, and most viewers had no expectations for the directors of Arrested Development. But deliver they did.…

In the comics, Dr. Stephen Shin is a scientist who is very knowledgeable of Atlantis, and he helps young Arthur Curry to develop his powers. He later betrays Arthur while trying to find the location of Atlantis. It’s unknown exactly how much of this will be adapted into the movie. So happy and fortunate to be finally working with this man,…

Netflix Renews JESSICA JONES for Season 3
Marvel premiered the second season of its acclaimed series Jessica Jones last month on Netflix. The show is arguably the most acclaimed Marvel/Netflix series yet. So, it shouldn’t be surprising to hear that season three is a go. Netflix has announced (via THR) that Jessica Jones has been renewed for a third season. No word yet on a release date or when the season will begin production. Currently, Marvel has yet to confirm its Netflix slate for 2019 (which is expected to include new seasons of Iron Fist and The Punisher), so that’s a possibility. This move further cements Marvel’s desire to expand its existing shows on Netflix, even with…
