Tom Felton Joins THE FLASH as New Series Regular for Season 3

Over the past few weeks, we’ve had plenty of casting news for the next seasons of DC’s television shows. Everyone from Arrow and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow to Gotham and Supergirl have been adding new characters to their casts. Now, it’s The Flash‘s turn, and this one is a biggie.

According to TV Line, Harry Potter alum Tom Felton has joined the cast of The Flash as a new series regular for season three. He will play Julian Dorn, a CSI at the Central City Police Department. He sees past Barry Allen’s “good guy reputation,” and he suspects that there’s more to him than meets the eye.

It appears that Julian Dorn is an original character created solely for the show. It was recently confirmed that season three will tackle the “Flashpoint” storyline. How Julian’s role relates to that arc remains to be seen.

The Flash returns on Tuesday, October 4th at 8 PM EST on The CW.
