SUICIDE SQUAD Will Have a Mid-Credits Scene

Recently, it has become a popular trend for superhero movies to have an additional scene during or after the credits. Marvel Studios does it in every film, while the X-Men franchise began to do it a few years ago.

However, DC Films’ Man of Steel and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice did not have an after- or mid-credits scene. Green Lantern did, and we all know how that went. But that’s finally about to change with Suicide Squad next week.

Comic Book has confirmed that Suicide Squad will have an extra scene in the middle of the credits. The scene is described as “pivotal and important.” No further details are known. However, don’t expect anything after the credits.

So when you go see Suicide Squad next weekend, be sure to stick around a little longer and catch the mid-credits scene. Stay tuned for more news as we have it.

Suicide Squad is scheduled to hit theaters August 5th. The third installment in the DC Extended Universe stars Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Jared Leto, Jai Courtney, Joel Kinnaman, Cara Delevingne, Viola Davis, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Adam Beach, Jay Hernandez and Karen Fukahara. David Ayer writes and directs.
