FEATURE: A Hawkgirl Fancast for the DC Cinematic Universe
DC’s Hawkgirl has always been an iconic character for me, from seeing her as one of the starting seven in the animated Justice League TV show, to her iteration on The CW’s Legends of Tomorrow. I really would love to see Shayera Hol come to the big screen, either in her own solo movie, or perhaps in a future Justice League movie. I think she could bring an interesting dynamic to the team, especially with Wonder Woman as the current leader (in my opinion) of the team. Below I’ve got five actresses who I think could portray Shayera on the big screen. 5. Karen Gillian Karen is the safe choice…

Margot Robbie Hints at R-Rating for Harley Quinn/Birds of Prey Movie
After considering several Harley Quinn-centric projects, Warner Bros. is now moving ahead with Margot Robbie’s spinoff, to be directed by Cathy Yan. The (officially untitled) film will be based on the Birds of Prey comics, and it will unite Harley with several female characters from the DC Universe. Now, Robbie sheds some light on what to expect. In an interview with Collider, Robbie says that she first pitched the movie back in 2015, when she was shooting Suicide Squad. So, she’s spent three years pursuing her vision. But the most interesting part of her pitch has to be the rating. “I pitched the idea of an R-rated girl gang film including…

Did Bots Inflate the JUSTICE LEAGUE Audience Score?
Ahhhh, Rotten Tomatoes! That infamous aggregator that can sink a film or ensure one’s success with a flick of the Tomatometer. Much has been said about Justice League‘s Tomatometer score, and some have even theorized that the film’s audience score may have been artificially inflated the same way The Last Jedi was accused of having its score artificially deflated. However, for the first time there is empirical evidence that this is not the case, and that the cause for the review disparity runs far deeper. Prominent YouTube personality MatPat, and his team from The Film Theorists channel, developed a Natural Language Sentiment Algorithm that analyzed the text of Justice League reviews on…
