SHAZAM! Officially Wraps Production
After many years of development, New Line Cinema’s Shazam! finally began production earlier this year. And now, the next installment of DC Films’ universe is officially in the can.
Director David F. Sandberg has confirmed on Twitter that Shazam! has wrapped production. The next phase will be post-production, for which Sandberg and the team have 11 months before the film’s release.

Now that Shazam! is officially wrapped, we’re turning our attention to the next DC movie to shoot: Wonder Woman 2. The highly anticipated sequel is expected to begin production later this month, and it has already cast Kristen Wiig and Pedro Pascal as new characters. Expect more news on that to come soon.
Shazam! is set to hit theaters on April 5th, 2019. The seventh installment in the DC Films Universe stars Asher Angel, Zachary Levi, Mark Strong, Grace Fulton, Jack Dylan Grazer, Ian Chen, Jovan Armand, Cooper Andrews, Marta Milans, Faithe Herman, and Ron Cephas Jones. David F. Sandberg directs from a script by Henry Gayden.
