
Patty Jenkins Confirms Kristen Wiig’s Casting in WONDER WOMAN 2
Last week, it was reported that Kristen Wiig was in talks to play the villainous Cheetah in DC’s Wonder Woman sequel, which will begin production this summer. Now, a deal has been closed.
Director Patty Jenkins has confirmed on Twitter that Wiig has joined the cast of the hotly anticipated sequel. Gal Gadot will reprise her role as the titular hero, while several characters from the first film are rumored to return. With production a couple months away, we should expect more casting news soon. Stay tuned.

Wonder Woman 2 is scheduled to hit theaters on November 1st, 2019.
