Liam Neeson in Talks to Join MEN IN BLACK Spinoff
Casting is well underway for Sony’s next Men in Black movie, which expands the franchise with a new cast of characters. Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson are on board to star, with F. Gary Gray attached to direct. Now, another A-list actor may be joining.
According to Variety, action veteran Liam Neeson is in talks to join the new Men in Black. If a deal closes, he will play the head of the UK branch of the MIB agency. Neeson has a history of tentpole films, appearing in the likes of Star Wars, Batman, and headlining the Taken trilogy.
In other Men in Black news, Omega Underground has shared some initial plot details. According to the site, the movie sees Tessa Thompson’s character, Em, wanting to prove herself by joining the UK division of the MIB. She will be paired with Chris Hemsworth’s character, Agent H, and the two will be caught up in a murder mystery that takes them across the globe.
