BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE Film Crew Collectibles Reveal New Logo; Another Rumor On Trailer’s Release
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice completed filming last month, with more than a year’s worth of post-production to be done. When production concluded, star Henry Cavill gave “challenge coins” to members of the film’s cast and crew, continuing a tradition of his. There were two types of coins, one with the Superman logo and one with the Batman symbol. The latter is particularly interesting, as it looks slightly different from the bat emblem in the Dawn of Justice logo released last year (you can see that above). This version of the bat-symbol has a longer tail and is a little wider, giving it an appearance closer to Frank Miller’s design. The difference could’ve been an error in the coin’s creation, but a glimpse of a crew member’s jacket happens to feature the same logo. You can check those images out below.

In other Batman v Superman news, we have another rumor concerning when the hotly anticipated teaser trailer releases. Originally, it was expected to debut with The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies last month, while more recent speculation suggested that we would see it with next month’s Jupiter Ascending. And now, Batman-on-Film has heard another date for the trailer premiere. Apparently, the teaser will be attached to Warner Bros.’ Mad Max: Fury Road, which releases May 15th. An online release is also planned. However, the idea of a shorter teaser being attached to Jupiter Ascending and then a full theatrical trailer with Mad Max isn’t out of the question. For now, take this info with a pinch of salt; hopefully, we’ll receive official news soon.
