Review: DAREDEVIL Season 3
It’s funny. When I first heard that Marvel was doing a TV show with Netflix based on the Daredevil property, I got confused. Before the announcement, I always thought that they would introduce him through a movie instead of a show. Fast forward years later, and I can safely say that I fully understand now. Sure, I would love to see Daredevil on the big screen again one day, but in an era of flashy superpowers, mighty gadgets, and all that being shown on the big screen, I don’t know if Daredevil would work for the big screen (even though I would love to be wrong). Anyway, let’s go on…

“Bye, Felicia” – Netflix Cancels LUKE CAGE
Fresh on the heels of Iron Fist‘s mortalization, another hero had his bulletproof exterior shattered. Late Friday evening, Netflix and Marvel Television announced that Luke Cage would not be returning for its third season. “Unfortunately, Marvel’s Luke Cage will not return for a third season,” the companies said in a statement. “Everyone at Marvel Television and Netflix is grateful to the dedicated showrunner, writers, cast and crew who brought Harlem’s Hero to life for the past two seasons, and to all the fans who have supported the series.” Cage’s small screen journey started as a supporting role in Jessica Jones, before branching off into a solo series and The Defenders…

Marvel Studios Drops Untitled Movie from 2020 Schedule
Marvel Studios previously dated a bunch of untitled movies for the next few years, including three for 2020. However, it looks like one movie won’t be arriving that year, based on Disney’s latest schedule change. The untitled Marvel movie set for July 31st, 2020 has been removed from the schedule, and it is currently “undated.” As a result, Disney has moved Dwayne Johnson’s Jungle Cruise movie to July 24th, 2020. Of course, since it’s untitled, we don’t know what Marvel movie this was. But fans are already speculating that it could be Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, since that movie was expected to shoot next year for a 2020…

Review: TITANS Season 1 Episode 2
Read our review of Titans Episode One! Sigh… I am still trying to hold on to hope. This review is going to discuss some events, especially in the final moments of the episode, which are very spoilerific. There will be an indicator where that starts. Episode two of Titans, Hawk and Dove spend time bringing the feathered few to the flesh, devoting the first ten minutes to their life and relationship. Alan Ritchson brings us a nuanced Hank Hall, quick to anger, quick to quip, interacting with the world with his heart on his sleeve, and raises the rating of the show by his words alone. Minka Kelly remains undisturbed…

Crunchyroll and Funimation Part Ways
Crunchyroll and Funimation, two of the biggest anime distributors, are now ending their collaboration that started back in September 2016. The reason for it? Sony Picture Television Network wants Funimation to spread its wings and become more global. Outside of the fact that they will stop sharing content after November 9th, but Funimation will also not be available after that expiration date. If you are worried about losing shows like Attack on Titan and My Hero Academia on your Crunchyroll account, I’m happy to say that you don’t have to worry. According to reports, shows that premiered during the partnership are staying around even after November 9th. Animenewsnetwork has an…

Review: DAREDEVIL (2003)
You can’t talk about Daredevil without having someone reviewing the movie (even if you wanted to talk about the TV show only). So, let’s get started… In a time before Affleck became the target of memes and asked if someone bleeds, we could all see him in 2003’s Daredevil, where he plays the blind lawyer Matt Murdock, who is out for revenge against the mighty Kingpin. The movie adaptation is quite fascinating. You have the leads doing the best with what they have. Besides that, you have the two actors playing the lead villains hamming it up to eleven (I’m seriously wondering if Colin Farell and Michael Clarke Duncan either…

Opinion: Why the DAREDEVIL Movie is Better than the DAREDEVIL TV Show
Hello! You’re here! Welcome to this hot take. I know there’s multiple opinions on this topic, and I’m in the very tiny minority. If you listened to our Daredevil Podcast, you got a small glimpse of this argument, and if you haven’t listened, you should! But here goes nothing! Why the Daredevil movie is better than the Daredevil TV show. Ah Daredevil. Highly controversial, this movie isn’t one of the best. But it isn’t one of the worst. I really enjoyed Jennifer Gardner‘s portrayal of Elektra, she gave the role some sexiness, bad***ery that it desperately needed. The plot was terrible, but I actually enjoyed the script. Writing can be good…

SUPERGIRL Will Introduce Lex Luthor in Season 4
Supergirl has featured many different characters from Superman lore, such as Jimmy James Olsen, Metallo, and the Man of Steel himself. Lois Lane will appear this year during the “Elseworlds” crossover event. But one character who has been absent is Superman’s arch nemesis, Lex Luthor. Well, that is finally going to change this season. The CW has announced that Lex Luthor is set to appear on Supergirl this season. He will be a recurring character, and casting begins soon. However, he will not be in the “Elseworlds” crossover. Executive producers Robert Rovner and Jessica Queller had this to say about the news. “We’re beyond excited to introduce iconic villain, Lex Luthor,…
